What platform is being used for this conference? What equipment do I need?

All classes and breakout sessions will take place using Zoom. For the best experience, we highly recommend attending Beloved and Dignified using either a laptop or desktop, however mobile devices will work, too.

Are there any geographic limitations to who can attend this conference?

Because of restrictions related to Zoom, women in the following area will not be permitted to attend:
 • Cuba: For regulatory reasons, users in this country are currently unable to access Zoom services.
 • Iran:  For regulatory reasons, users in this country are currently unable to access Zoom services.
 • North Korea:  For regulatory reasons, users in this country are currently unable to access Zoom services.
 • Syria:  For regulatory reasons, users in this country are currently unable to access Zoom services.
 • Ukraine (Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk regions):  For regulatory reasons, users in these regions are currently unable to access Zoom services

Sorry, no. Due to the sensitive nature of the topics discussed at this conference, these sessions will not be recorded and there will not be a digital pass.

Will interpretation (translation) services be offered?

Yes, we are planning to offer interpretation for all three keynotes and the three classes in the International category. All other classes will be presented in English only.

If I want to watch the conference with a friend, is it OK us to purchase one registration to watch together?

Yes, the registration fee is per device, not per person.

The registration fee for the conference is beyond my means. Is there an option for a reduced rate?

1. Split the fee with a few friends and host a watch party. The registration fee is per device, not per person, so if you and a few of your friends can agree on which breakouts you would like to attend, you can purchase one registration, divide the fee among the attendees, and then watch the conference together on one device. In this case, one person would complete the actual registration and the other would reimburse this person for their share of the fee.

2. Request a donated registration.  We are currently accepting donations from our attendees to assist those who may want to attend the conference but have limited financial means. Complete this form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScHsYiC0Ehdm3wwNlcEpa-J6oAJdrAKJF7m7Zrq9SAoU2BtCg/viewform)if you would like to request a donated registration. Requests will be reviewed and approved based on funds availability, up to 48 hours prior to the conference. While anyone is welcome to apply, priority will be given to those who reside in countries with developing economies.

I would like to make a donation to help someone attend! How do I do that?

Thank you so much for your generosity! We have two options for donating:

1) If you haven't yet registered for yourself, you can add a "Beloved Angel" ticket for $35 at the time of completing the form.

2) If you have already registered, or would like to donate without registering, you can complete this "donation only" form.(https://www.eventbrite.com/e/beloved-and-dignified-donation-only-registration-1218963946979?aff=oddtdtcreator) The suggested donation amount is $35 but any amount will be appreciated; you can choose the amount you want to give.

How is the money from registration used?

We strive to keep the registration fee as low as possible, however even in an online format there are expenses associated with organizing a conference. All of our speakers volunteer their time for this event. The majority of registration revenue pays for the various administrative expenses. This includes but is not limited to conference website construction and maintenance, internal and external communications, marketing, needed zoom licenses, technical trainings, and creation of the online platform for the conference itself.

Additional available funds are also utilized to help those who are unable to afford the ticket price attend with a scholarship registration. This is defrayed somewhat by the "Beloved Angel" tickets purchased, but we also set aside a portion of the conference revenue to assist with this as well.

In the end, our goal is only to break even and cover our expenses. The true driving force behind this conference is to equip our attendees with this stories shared, and help them feel less alone in the valley.

If I need to cancel, can I get a refund on my registration?

We understand that circumstances may change, and attendees may need to cancel their conference registration. Refund requests can be submitted up to seven days before the event. However, please note that submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.
Refunds are intended to accommodate unusual or extenuating circumstances. In cases where a refund is not feasible, we encourage attendees to consider the following alternatives:
 • Transfer their registration to another individual of your chosing.
 • Donate their registration to an overseas attendee who may be unable to afford the registration fee.
We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us make the conference accessible to all.
