Elizabeth Sevigny is a devoted wife of two years and the proud mother of a joyful baby girl. She has walked with Christ for nearly 11 years and serves full-time as a youth minister alongside her husband. Working with young people has become a calling she deeply treasures, guiding them in faith and purpose. Elizabeth also finds solace and joy in writing songs, letting her love for music express the beauty and challenges of life.

Her journey has included moments of profound grief and transformation. Early in her marriage, Elizabeth was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that led to sudden, almost total hair loss. Facing this loss brought on a season of depression, but it also drove her to cling to God more closely than ever before. Through that struggle, she found acceptance and peace, which she now shares openly with others. Elizabeth has embraced her story wholeheartedly, building connections with people facing similar health journeys through her social media account, TheBald_Mom. There, she shares her experiences authentically and finds purpose in lifting others up—turning what was once a source of pain into a powerful message of resilience and hope.

Fighting for Faith When Your Body Fails You

Join us for a compassionate and hope-filled class as both speakers share their unique journeys through the grief, challenges, and questions that come with chronic and/or debilitating illness.

With vulnerability, they’ll explore how facing ongoing health battles has impacted their faith, self-identity, and relationships, providing a safe space for anyone navigating similar struggles. Together, they will address the complexities of holding onto faith when physical healing seems out of reach, offering understanding and encouragement for those seeking a renewed sense of purpose and resilience.

Both speakers bring wisdom from their own experiences—the things that have been helpful (and unhelpful) along the way, as well as the lessons learned in their walk with God. Through open conversation and shared stories, they’ll show how they have found enduring hope in Jesus, even in the midst of continued health challenges.

Come connect, learn, and find support for your own journey toward rediscovering God’s faithfulness!
