Faloyan Ford

Folayan Ford is a simple woman from Philadelphia, PA. She confesses she'd like to be a Professional Hugger, but has a full time job working with children. She has endured a lifetime of struggles crammed into 30 short years of adulting. She's a woman who lives and breathes Jonah 2:8-10. Background: she's a mother of three beautiful children. Her daughter (Maaciah) was born with Autism 26 short years ago would be the catalyst to change her life, forever! This relationship has created joy, struggles, heart-ships, loneliness and a deep need for Jesus! What drives her; there's a myriad of things. Sometimes it's running at an aggressive pace from past sins and hurts. Other times it's the need to push past situations in order to honor God. She says" it's either going to be a breakdown or a breakthrough" in thinking about the challenges of parenting alone. She knows she’s one of God’s favorites and refused to allow hardships to block her blessings! She is driven by a deep love and compassion to enjoy every new day with the gifts she is receiving!
